Syntree – “Here We Go”: Metal Meets Synthwave in a Bold Brazilian Debut

As a Brazilian hub for retrowave and cyberpunk culture, Area Orbital is on a mission to spotlight homegrown synthwave talent. The global scene is thriving — so why shouldn’t it have the same fire here in Brazil?

Enter Syntree.

This brilliant Brazilian trio blends synth and melodic metal, debuting with the album Here We Go, released in October 2024. Their sound moves effortlessly between ‘80s nostalgia and sonic innovation, fronted by a talented vocalist.

What happens when three open-minded musicians join forces to push the boundaries of Brazil’s heavy music scene?

You get Syntree.

The band was born when three seasoned rock and metal musicians decided to fuse their sonic influences with the retro-futuristic vibe of synthwave. The lineup features Tito Falaschi (vocals & guitar – known for his work with Symbols), Alex Curi (drums), and Dallton Santos (guitar). Together, they unleash their debut album: “Here We Go”.

Produced by Tito Falaschi, the record feels fresh for the Brazilian metal landscape. Beyond the heavy riffs, you’ll hear echoes of synthpop greats like Depeche Mode and a-ha, the pop-rock sensibilities of The Police and Tears for Fears, and a touch of ‘80s electronic wizardry.

The result? A sound that bridges worlds — pulling retrowave aesthetics into the heart of melodic metal.

Even the cover art reflects this fusion: the band stands before a mysterious portal, with a glowing futuristic city in the distance. The music mirrors this vision — beautiful, emotional, and never locked into just “melodic metal” or ‘80s pastiche.

Syntree has its own sonic signature: pulsing drum grooves, soaring guitar solos, and melodic vocals packed with emotion. The band crafts a sound that feels cinematic and fresh.

Musical highlights include:

  • “Falling from the Sky”
  • “Close to My Heart”
  • “Gates of Perception”

and, of course, “Here We Go”, the first single — a track that feels like stepping through a cosmic gateway into another dimension.

Syntree has truly crossed the portal. By blending past sounds with new energy, they’ve created something both thrilling and nostalgic. A debut worth paying attention to.

“Here We Go” carries weight, but its synth layers bring balance and atmosphere. Modern guitar riffs meet retro synth textures, resulting in a soundscape that will resonate with fans of synthpop, synthwave, rock, and metal alike.

Syntree’s future could be on the other side of the portal, standing out worldwide!

Who knows? The next leap for Syntree might just be going interstellar.
